Trouble with Freshmeat?

Earlier today, we reported that
Freshmeat had updated their server with a brand new look – new
graphics, new layout, new engine, new everything.

A short time thereafter, however, the entire Freshmeat website
was taken down. The website now consists of a single paragraph
authored by Freshmeat’s administrator, “Scoop” (Patrick Lenz),
suggesting that he has received an incredible outburst of flames
with regard to his new website design.

He ends with “I’m sick of it.”

We’ve contacted Scoop for more information on this, and will
update this story if/when we hear from him. Please use the talkback
forum below if you have any information on this matter.
