Such a port is being pre-announced by tuxedomain, the
independent information hub for TUXEDO professionals, and was
posted to the newsgroup comp.os.linux.misc on November 2nd.

A brief news announcement on the tuxedomain web site
quotes BEA Product Management as saying:

“We are currently assessing the business case for porting &
supportingTuxedo on Linux. Our immediate plans include a port of
the Tuxedo network client (/WS) to Linux by year-end. Additional
plans for porting of the server component will depend on our
business case assessment for doing so.This determination will be
made by September”.

We hear BEA has made “this determination”, which is: TUXEDO
(server) will be ported to Linux. You should expect the release to
appear sometime in the Q2 of next year.
