Thanks to the generous donations and hands-on help of many fans of the Ubuntu Touch OS, UBports is launching today the OTA-1 stable update for all of their officially supported Ubuntu Phone devices, except Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. The OTA-1 update is available for installation right now via the built-in OTA system. Besides the usual bug fixes and security patches, this first OTA Ubuntu Touch update from UBports is brining experimental AGPS (Assisted GPS) support, OpenStore as default app store for installing apps, a brand-new UBports Welcome app, and pre-installed Terminal and File Browser apps.
