On April 30, Canonical, through Adam Conrad, sent an email to all Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) users notifying them that the operating system is no longer supported starting with May 1, 2015. The fact of the matter is that April 30, 2015 was the last day when the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS distribution received security patches and software updates from Canonical.
