GNOME 3.24 introduces a lot of attractive features that fans of the desktop environment will be able to enjoy as part of Ubuntu GNOME 17.04. Among these, we can mention Night Light, an updated Calendar app with a Week view, the brand-new GNOME Recipes app that’s available for installation from the repositories, and much more. Among other changes included in Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 Final Beta, we can mention that the chrome-gnome-shell system helper is installed by default, the Tracker search indexing engine is now sandboxed, gnome-icon-theme and gconf are no longer installed by default, and there’s now an experimental Wayland session.
