Ubuntu One good enough to convert a Dropbox user?

[ Thanks to Matthew Casperson for this
link. ]

“Dropbox was one of the earlier companies to offer a
commercial online, offsite backup and synchronisation service for
home users. Now Canonical have released their own competing service
call Ubuntu One. Both products have great support for Ububtu, so
which should you choose?

“Almost all of us have multiple computing devices these days,
but getting access to your data from a central location has
traditionally been a complicated exercise at best. And while
external hard disk usually come with easy to use backup software,
most people still don’t backup their critical data enough, or take
it off site. Services like Dropbox and Ubuntu One solve these
problems by automatically syncing and backing up your data over
your internet connection.

“I have used Dropbox for quite a while now, and I thought I
would give Ubuntu One a go to see how it compared. Does Ubuntu One
have what it takes to sway people from the more established
Dropbox?”
