Ubuntu Unity Remix is a new Ubuntu-based distribution that utilizes the very popular and beautiful Unity7 desktop environment on top of the Ubuntu code base. Its first stable release based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Focal Fossa is now available

Please note that Ubuntu Unity Remix is not an official flavor of Ubuntu. The first stable release of Ubuntu Unity Remix uses the Ubiquity installer from Ubuntu. It brings in GDM3, rather than LightDM which Unity used in the past. It supports EFI and UEFI and only comes with 64-bit support. You’ll get your regular goodies like LibreOffice, Firefox and some GNOME software and games. You can, of course, install more applications as per your need.
