UnixZone lists only free software (though not necessarily open
source). It includes software for all unix flavours, but Linux
applications make up a very large part of it, since so many people
are developing under and for Linux.

There are reviews and ratings for quality and portability for
each item, and only useful stuff is listed, no commercial promos or
alpha level programs. I’ve got about 255 programs listed so
far.
