Upgrading Fedora 17 to 18 with FedUp is elegant, but ???

With Fedora 18, the recommended upgrade tool is called FedUp (FEDora UPgrade). It is, by design, a lot more elegant than what it replaced, but how well or error-free it works is another matter.
