This might be of interest to many here:
Gaspar Sinai just released Yudit 2.0 on http://www.yudit.org/.
This is a complete rewrite of his classic Unix Unicode editor with
significant improvements.
Citings from the website www.yudit.org:
>Good news! Yudit 2.0 has been released. It rocks!
>
>Yudit is a freeware (Y)unicode text editor for all unices.
>It was first released on 1997-11-08. At that time I wanted
>to write in Japanese and Hungarian in one single document
>and I realized that it does not take much effort to extend
>this goal and just support any script. [..]
>
>The 2.0 series is totally independent. For 2.0 I have compiled
>a short Yudit FAQ.
