VA Research Announces Manufacturing Relationship With Flextronics International

“VA Research Linux Systems… today announced that Flextronics
International Ltd…, a global full-service provider of innovative
design, engineering and manufacturing solutions, has become VA’s
electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider.”

“Under the agreement, Flextronics will manufacture VA’s
workstation and server product lines requiring volume production.
VA plans to continue to manufacture its high-end workstations with
4-way and 8-way processors as well as customized servers. VA has
engaged in an innovative “virtual factory” concept with Flextronics
where they will create a “Dell-like” build-to-order plant for VA in
their San Jose facility.”
