“Vector Linux is a lightweight Linux distribution based
on Slackware Linux. Today the SOHO (Small Office/Home Office)
Edition of Vector Linux 6.0 was released, this version is targeted
at modern computers in an office environment. This distribution
features the Linux Kernel 2.6.31.11, KDE-4.4.2 plasma desktop, and
several productivity applications like GIMP, Digikam, K3B, Scribus,
OpenOffice, and Inkscape. Firefox, Opera and SeaMonkey browsers are
also included in this release along with many other reputable
applications. Users will also find a refined version of the GUI
installer that debuted in the Vector Linux standard 6.0 release,
out-of-the-box multimedia support and several other improvements.
