“The latest release of the Red Hat Linux operating system
promises to be easier to install and with enhanced performance and
support.”

“Bob Young, chief executive of Red Hat, said: “We expect the
improvements in installation, service, support and performance
built into Red Hat Linux 6.1 make it an asset to enterprise

The new suite includes the Linux 2.2.12 kernel, improved
installation tools, automatic software update information through
the Red Hat Update Agent and improved system management
capabilities.
