vnunet: Skype Launches Client for Linux and Apple

“Skype has launched version 1.0 of its software-based VoIP
client for Mac OS X and Linux, doubling the number of software
platforms on which it runs.

“The application was previously available only on systems
running Windows or Pocket PC. The development comes after Skype
published a first beta for Linux late June last year, followed by a
beta for Apple’s OS X in August…”
