“What went wrong?
Basically the partition was listed as having the wrong uuid.
Issuing the command sudo blkid would show one uuid, whereas
checking the /etc/fstab file would show another. Then it was
confirmed by checking /etc/mtab which didn’t have the swap
partition listed.”
