Web Host Industry Review: Red Hat Introduces RHCT Certification

“Open source and Linux developer Red Hat (RedHat.com) announced
on Monday that it has expanded its skills certification program to
include the new designation, Red Hat Certified Technician
(RHCT).

“RHCT, says Red Hat, continues the company’s performance-based
approach to certification, requiring candidates to experience a
hands-on approach, working with the systems directly to demonstrate
their capabilities. RHCT covers the skills specific to production
technicians, a subset of the skills tested in the company’s Red Hat
Certified Engineer certification. RHCT certified technicians can
continue their studies to qualify for RHCE certification…”
