Webcam Drivers For Ubuntu

“So what was the magic solution? Simple. All I needed to do was
to unplug and replug my webcam with the computer turned on. Wild,
huh? But the problem was that like some Windows users I found also
experiencing this issue, I had to do this with each boot into my
operating system. Clearly, this was a real problem even if it
wasn’t truly an issue with drivers for Ubuntu.
The fix that worked best for me was to simply take the webcam off
of the powered USB hub I was using, then plug it into my
PC’s frontal USB port. Bingo! From then on out,
it worked like a charm!
