Wine 1.8 Officially Released for Linux After One and a Half Years in the Making

After one and a half years in the making, the Wine 1.8 software has been finally released for Linux, during which the Wine team released over 50 milestones under the 1.7 development branch, as well as four RC (Release Candidate) builds. It was one of the greatest efforts in the history of open source software and includes over 13,000 changes.
