Allaire Corporation today announced plans to support the Linux
operating system in a future release of ColdFusion, its leading Web
application server.
Allaire intends to support the base version of Linux as well as
other popular commercial versions of the operating system. The
company is currently conducting the necessary research and
development and will make ColdFusion for Linux available in a
future product release. ColdFusion is currently available on the
Microsoft Windows and Sun Solaris platforms. HP-UX support will be
available in the first quarter of 1999.
