YAHOO: Control Data Announces IntraStore 2000 for Enterprise Networks and Internet Service Providers

When Control Data released a free version of IntraStore on the
Linux operating system last July, the company became the first
major vendor to offer an Internet messaging server on the Linux
platform.

IntraStore 2000 is an Internet server that hosts large
enterprise messaging and web environments, and includes
enhancements aimed at Internet Service Providers (ISP’s) and large
global customers. It delivers a wide range of Internet standard
network services to dial-in home users, businesses and other
communities of interest. It also enables ISP’s and large global
customers to provide customized, branded service offerings that
will attract and retain customers, and build market presence.
