ZDNet UK: AnchorDesk UK — Three tier brag

“Where could Penguins possibly be more comfortable? With
wind-chill temperatures of fifteen below, Linux users gathered by
the banks of New York’s frozen Hudson River this week.
But
inside the cavernous Jacob Javits Conference Center the third
LinuxWorld Conference and Expo show was warming up the way its
predecessors hadn’t.

“All three LinuxWorld Expos have taken place within the last
year — and here it’s remarkable how rapidly the event has changed
in tone over its brief life.

“For example, only last August in California, Jon ‘Maddog’ Hall
announced — to general amusement — that IDG Books had
commissioned him to write a ‘Linux for Dummies’. On their way into
the show in New York this week attendees passed KDE for Dummies,
SuSE for Dummies, Red Hat for Dummies, WordPerfect for Linux for
Dummies, and Caldera Open Linux for Dummies.”
