IBM’s Irving Wladawsky-Berger sings the praises of Linux

“A former IBM executive who helped to establish the company’s
Linux operation has provided an overview of how the company plans
to use the operating system in its future platforms.

Dr. Irving Wladawsky-Berger, chairman emeritus of the IBM
Academy of Technology, told attendees at the LinuxCon conference
that the company originally chose Linux for its versatility and
scalability.
