NY Times IT capitalizes on continuous delivery to move faster

New York Times CIO Marc Frons shares his story about how the Times’ IT organization moved to continuous delivery. He said in order to implement CD, it meant stopping at least half of its new development projects. That was initially a tough sell to a business hungry for new products and enhancements to existing ones. But fortunately, The Times CEO and other executives agreed, persuaded by the promise of at least 30 percent faster development times.
