antiX 15 Beta 1 is powered by a custom Linux 3.19.1 kernel, adds UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) support in the Live CD, and it uses packages from the upstream Debian 8.0 (Jessie). Despite the fact that the Live CD now supports UEFI computers, the built-in installer lacks UEFI support in this Beta. Among other changes, we can mention that the boot splash has been enabled by default, localisations have been improved, and various bugs squashed.
