Debian GNU/Linux 9.2 is the second point release of the Debian Stretch operating system series, coming two and a half months after the first maintenance update. As initially reported, it brings more than 150 security and bug fixes combined, offering users an up-to-date installation medium. As you are aware, this point release doesn’t constitute a new Debian GNU/Linux 9 version, but only a refreshed installation medium for those who planned on reinstalling their Debian PCs or install the popular Linux distro on more computer without having to download hundreds of updates from the official repositories.
