Devil-Linux 1.8.0 to Be a Major Overhaul, Will Use SquashFS as Main File System

While there’s no word if the development team had any personal or technical issues during the development of Devil-Linux 1.8.0, which recently received a second Release Candidate (RC) build, we’re being informed that work is ongoing for the upcoming release, which will be a major overhaul of Devil-Linux. From the release announcement, it looks like numerous of the pre-installed applications and core components have been updated to their most recent versions, and those who are no longer maintained upstream were removed from the default install of Devil-Linux 1.8.0.
