“The Fedora Project has announced the release of version 2.0 of
its Fedora open-source digital repository software. New features
include the ability to represent and query relationships among
digital objects, XML encoding for Fedora digital objects, enhanced
ingest and export interfaces for interoperability with other
repository systems, enhanced administrative features, and improved
documentation. Fedora is intended to serve as the foundation for
many types of information management applications, including
institutional repositories, digital libraries, records management
systems, archives, and educational software…”
