Frugalware 1.9 RC1 replaces the old /etc/sysconfig/desktop system and display-manager-legacy.service with a modern system, where each display manager provides its own service file. Users will be able to switch to the new system by using the dmconfig utility or via systemctl. Moreover, the vi symlinks were removed from this release, which will be managed via the new viconfig utility or manually, and the system used for mounting local packages has been revamped to work more consistently.
