The good news for everyone using Nautilus as their default file manager is that its developers started work on designing a modern user interface for the application and at the same time offering a more enjoyable experience. The Nautilus developers planned features for the next two major releases of the GNOME desktop environment, GNOME 3.18 and GNOME 3.20, but there are also features planned for the Nautilus 3.16 version.
