GStreamer 1.6 Open Source Multimedia Backend to Arrive in the Next Weeks with Many Features

GStreamer 1.5.2 is a major release that adds numerous new features, such as improved Digital Theater Systems (DTS) support, an absolute property for GstDirectControlBinding, the active-pad and adjust-base properties, support for handling various duration track selections, and support for handling buffer lists for the last-sample property. GStreamer 1.6 arrives in the next weeks.
