I would like to write articles for Linux Today. Starting out, I have one in mind for an area of a hot topic being overlooked right now. UEFI is the hot topic, but what’s being overlooked is that when the current supply of OEM PCs without UEFI on them are gone and the only “older” computers available have UEFI on them; this will severely limit FOSS installations, increase e-waste and affect non-profits like Free Geek who help keep PCs alive, in-use, and out of the trash heap.
