Install PuTTY on Linux – Ubuntu

Putty is a free, open source terminal emulator and telnet client for Windows. You can use it to connect to remote Unix or Linux Server. It is primarily used on Windows.

Linux has a built-in terminal editor and OpenSSH. So you do not need to install putty on it. But if, you still want to install putty on Linux then read this article.
