Nominations begin for the 16th annual Free Software Awards

On Thursday, October 3, the Free Software Foundation, in association with the GNU Project, announced that they will be accepting nominations for their 16th annual Free Software Awards.

The Foundation grants two awards each year. The Award for the Advancement of Free Software is granted to one person and the Award for Projects of Social Benefit is granted to one worthy group or project.
