Open-source RTBkit Tweaks Internet Ad Bidding

Despite the ubiquity of advertising on the Internet, most of us probably spend little time thinking about what goes in to delivering those ads. But the systems behind them are not only quite complex, but also ripe for improvement – or so says Datacratic, which has released a new open-source bidder framework for advertising exchanges. Will the tool, RTBkit, reshape how ads are bought and sold? That’s an important question for digital marketing companies.
