Samba 4.2.2 Officially Released with Over 30 Bug Fixes, systemd Improvements

Samba 4.2.2 is a bugfix release that patches over 30 issues that have been reported by users or discovered by Samba developer since the previous version of the software. Among the most significant changes, we can mention better systemd detection in the waf build system, a fix for a panic triggered by smbd_smb2_request_notify_done() – smbXsrv_session_find_channel() in the smbd daemon, and improved portability in CTDB. We recommend updating your Samba installations as soon as possible.
