The Australian: Vendors reject Windows refunds

“MICROSOFT and PC vendors will ignore a worldwide movement to
seek refunds on unused copies of Windows.”

“A February 15 deadline has been imposed by the Windows Refund
Group for vendors to honour Windows licensing agreements.”

“It says rejecting a Windows licence agreement entitles users to
a refund.”

“But the demands have exposed the fact that neither the vendors
nor Microsoft have management policies to honour the
agreement.”

“IDC estimates there are up to 20 million Linux users. It
expects the number to grow to 50 million by next January.”
