After three weeks from the release of Unreal Engine 4.8, Epic Games announced recently the immediate availability for download of the first maintenance release, Unreal Engine 4.8.1, which fixes over 30 bugs that were present in the previous version. The hotfix release for Unreal Engine 4.8 is now available for download for Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
