“Mumbai based IT Security consultancy firm Network Intelligence
India (NII), has implemented a Linux firewall solution called
IPTables for Greater Bombay Co-operative Bank Ltd., but not without
the usual ‘driver availability hiccup.’“Speaking to CXOtoday, K. K. Mookhey, Founder-CTO, Network
Intelligence India Pvt. Ltd., said, ‘Greater Bank first came to us
for a firewall solution for one of its web-based applications. We
immediately recognized Linux as the ideal solution for the
situation. The bank’s application servers were located at one of
their branches, and users needed to connect from remote branches.
The IPTables solution was up and running in less than 24
hours…'”
