Security Portal: Weekly Linux Security Digest 2000/06/12 to 2000/06/18

“Vendors are still licking their wounds from last week while
releasing new kernels, versions of INND and so on. Unfortunately
many vendors still haven’t issued fixed kernels, so if you are
still waiting make sure to let your vendor know by sending a polite
email or phone call (we have no-one to blame but ourselves if we
let vendors off the hook).”

“We lead off with general advisories and exploit code, then
vendor advisories. Most things are in alphabetical order. If we’re
missing a Linux vendor’s advisory please tell us, ditto for any
Linux related security alerts. The long strings of hex in front of
package names are MD5 signatures.”
