BW: IVT to Showcase Burstware at Networld + Interop Show Booth 6652…and Linux Pavilion 2920

Instant Video Technologies…www.burst.com, will
demonstrate its enterprise-class video and audio delivery system,
Burstware(R), and will showcase its Burstware(R) Linux port at
Networld + Interop, which opens in Atlanta today.
The Linux
port makes the third operating system for Burstware(R), which
already runs on Solaris and Windows NT servers.”

“Networld + Interop gives us an opportunity to interact with IT
managers who, until now, have had to deal with inflexible network
video delivery options,” said IVT Chairman and CEO, Richard Lang.
“Burstware(R) gives network managers a sophisticated solution to
optimize bandwidth and ensure the greatest variety of video
encoding schemes can be delivered seamlessly throughout their
enterprise.”

“Burstware(R) is an IP-based, enterprise-level software
application that delivers video in Faster-Than-Real-Time(TM)
“bursts,” which are stored on the client side and played from local
memory instead of over the network. This allows intelligent
resource management, permitting more successful video and audio
deliveries over a network than possible with real-time
streaming.”
