“JBoss Group LLC, ‘provider of the most popular Java application
server,’ is shipping of Nukes on JBoss, an open source content
management system (CMS) based entirely on Java. Led by Julien Viet,
a full-time consultant for JBoss Group, the project grew out of the
company’s efforts to port PHP/PostNukes to Java and plug-ins ‘with
the aim of offering users an open, high performance system equipped
with advanced functionalities,’ JBoss says.

“In addition, JBoss announced that use of the open source JBoss
server ‘dramatically increased’ in 2003. According to JBoss, a
study conducted by BZ Research, the “Third Annual Java Use and
Awareness Study,” had 26.9 percent of respondents reporting using
JBoss in their company or at companies for which they consult. ‘The
survey results are consistent with strong increased interest JBoss
Group experienced over the course of 2003, as numerous new
enterprise deployments confirmed JBoss as the safe, reliable choice
for J2EE application servers,’ JBoss says…”
