FFmpeg 0.9 “Harmony” released

“Nearly six months after 0.8 arrived, the FFmpeg development
team has announced the release of version 0.9 of its open source
video codec tools and libraries.

The major release, code-named “Harmony”, includes new ARM
optimisations, support for hardware accelerated H.264 decoding on
Google’s Android mobile operating system, and native Ut Video and
Dirac decoders. FFmpeg now supports PulseAudio input and reading
MPO files, and has an OpenJPEG Library encoder and a Dxtory capture
format decoder. Various bugs found in the previous versions have
been fixed. An experimental JPEG 2000 encoder and support for
libaacplus have also been added.
