InfoWorld: IBM adds Linux section to developerWorks Web site

“IBM here Tuesday announced it has beefed up its developerWorks
Web site by adding Linux and Web architectures, changes that come
directly from suggestions made as part of a visitor survey.”

“developerWorks, which is still in beta testing, is a free
online resource that lets programmers get access to tips, tools,
technology-specific search engines, and emerging technology code,
officials said.”

“The new Linux section is supported with a variety of different
resources including a new Linux JVM and technology preview of the
Linux version of IBM’s Visual Age. Also included is a library of
articles about Linux pulled together from a multitude of
sources.”
