iTweb: Sun Launches Java for Linux Community on java.net

“Linux developers now have access to a new java.net community.
Launched by Sun Microsystems, it offers expanded support for Java
technology-based development tools on the Solaris, Linux and
Windows platforms.

“Sean O’Hare, Java systems engineer at Sun Microsystems, notes
that the increasing adoption of Linux within the enterprise, as
well as the pervasive nature of Java technology, make this a
logical step for the company…”
