run into controversy in the past. It suffered a setback last June,
when its plan to invest $20 million in a Korean software developer,
in return for its abandonment of a popular Korean-language word
processing program, was scuttled.”
“According to the group, one such case is that an old lady comes
to the shop for a PC and begs for a free installation of Microsoft
software. But the next day Microsoft storms the shop with the PC as
a proof of piracy. Microsoft categorically denies the charge.”
