LinuxPR: European LinuxTag 2000 at Stuttgart Convention Center

“Kaiserslautern, January 28, 2000. This year’s LinuxTag, the
largest Linux user convention in Europe, will be held from June 29
to July 2 in the Stuttgart international convention center, the
organizers announced today. This is the first time in its five-year
history that LinuxTag will take place outside the event’s
birthplace at the University of Kaiserslautern.”

LinuxTag has established itself as the biggest free
software user event in Europe.
The aim is to give an insight
into free operating systems like GNU/Linux and applications based
on it to a broad audience, interested in using free software at
home, in education or in a business environment. LinuxTag will
further highlight the advantages to other systems and will provide
support for finding the right solution for certain problems.”

“For the first time, LinuxTag in 2000 will host a conference on
the use of GNU/Linux and other free software in businesses…”
