Yelp 2.6.0

Yelp 2.6.0 “Coming Around”

This is the stable release for GNOME 2.6 of everybody’s favorite
help browser, Yelp. Yelp is the default help browser in GNOME 2. It
can display documents in DocBook and HTML formats. Get it here:

http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/yelp/2.6/

Overview of changes since 2.4:

Yelp’s DocBook transformation system has undergone massive changes
since the 2.4 series. The end result is that we have
transformations that are cleaner, simpler, and faster.
Transformations in 2.6 are up to 30 times faster than in 2.4.

The man and info converters have been temporarily dropped from
Yelp 2.6. These should return in 2.8.

Numerous annoyances have been fixed. The Find dialog got some
great love from Chee Bin HOH. Yelp is able to jump to anchor points
within documents. The sidebar is completely consistent with the
actual pages that are displayed. There are now keybindings for
navigating through the sections of a document.
