Alan Cox has posted his first patch to the 2.2.0pre5 kernel.

According to Alan’s
diary
:

“Linus released 2.2.0pre5. I thus released 2.2.0pre5ac1 and
bombarded the poor man with patches. At some point he should emerge
from that with 2.2.0pre6 and the process can be repeated. The diff
itself is getting smaller once you remove drivers Linus has said he
doesn’t want to merge. Also most of the important stuff is now with
Linus.”
