today it is opening TurboLinux offices in Germany, the United
Kingdom and Slovenia. TurboLinux Germany will be the headquarters
office for TurboLinux in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.”

“The new German headquarter office, based in Hamburg, will be
headed by Ane Gyldholm, TurboLinux’s newly appointed managing
director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Gyldholm, who
holds a PhD in Business Strategy, was most recently vice president
of Europe for IMSI, Europe’s fifth-largest software company.
Michael Heckmann, appointed by TurboLinux as Director of Sales for
EMEA, will also be based in Hamburg. Heckmann, the founder of
Softkey Germany (later purchased by The Learning Company), is the
former sales director for IMSI and was previously the sales
director for Star Division (recently acquired by Sun
Microsystems).”
“The new TurboLinux office in the U.K. will be based in
Plymouth. TurboLinux Slovenia will be based in Kranj.”
