Fairfax IT: Big boys buoy up Linux

“Writing a column like this about trends in open source and
Linux is a bit like trying to track an ocean wave – by the time
it’s spotted, another has overtaken it. So it happened late last

Linux will be the boom OS this year and next because of its price,
performance and Unix-like flavour.”
